Why run for a Position on the AB?

My involvement with the USGW has, for the most part been limited to hosting County Sites in California, New Jersey, Indiana and Pennsylvania where I have roots.
I am also State Coordinator for California and have been since Richard S Wilson Retired.

I was a member of the EC for 1 year and resigned due to a serious conflict with methods of operation - I have to be honest about this because it is my hope that the process is better managed at this point in time.

I think that the AB needs a fresh influx of
voices and ideas. One of the most important functions of the SWSC County Coordinator Representative is to be a liason between the Governing body of the USGW and the Coordinators out in the 'hinterlands'.

Having been a CC for a very long time and having availed myself of the expertise of my Representative, I appreciate the quality of help that I have received.
If elected, I hope to be able to impart not only quality decisions, but to infuse the AB with a mature and vital approach to new ideas.

As a vital Member of the USGW each of us has an obligation to Vote in these Elections.

If we do not Vote, we have no right to complain about any issue that may come up.

Register and Vote.

Send em along.

Odds & Ends

Since I have never accepted a Nomination, I really have no clue on how to go about letting folks know about qualifications.

I have a keen desire to see if I can make a difference on the Advisory Board.

I know that there are many people out in the world of Genealogical & Historical Research who know who I am. I am not shy about the fact that I love research, web work and digging out those  elusive ancestors.

What I don't do very well is promote myself, I have always believed that my work, character and willingness to help others would let folks know who I was and where I am going while on this blue ball we call home.
